Our supplier of our peering connections to Sweden, Norway and Denmark has announced a maintenance on their equipment. During this maintenance we will reroute traffic to different link.

No customer impact is expected, as we will reroute the excess traffic to different links, however during changing the networks paths and routing tuning you may see short latency increase or small packet loss.

The time zone is CEST (UTC+1).

Core router software update (CRS-EVO)

Dear Customer,

The outage our network experienced Friday 27-08-2010 (http://noc.leaseweb.com/status.php?i=557) was caused by a bug in the IOS-XR software which runs on our Cisco CRS-1 core routers.

During this maintenance window we will install the update on our CRS-1 router located in EvoSwitch.
The router will be rebooted.
Before the maintenance starts we will reroute all traffic to the core router located in Telecity-2.

[20100831] Microsoft Windows maintenance window

Impact : interruption of MsSQL and webhosting services
Duration : Few minutes per platform
Reason : Windows updates

Dear customer,

Microsoft has released security updates for all Windows versions. We are going install this updates on our Windows servers to protect our servers. The downtime will be approximately a few minutes.

Hyper-V has High availability features so there will be no downtime. A smal hickup can occure while moving servers.

Reason : Reboots due to recent updates

Our MySQL servers will be updated. To complete these updates a reboot is required.

The work wil start around 7 o'clock. We expect the total downtime will be around 30 minutes.

We encountered a hardware problem. We replaced the module and router is booting now.

Router is now back online. We are checking the ports now but traffic should be restored in a few minutes.

[20100812] Self Service Center Maintenance [Update]

Dear customer,

We have to perform a move of one of our customer DNS cashing servers nscache3.leaseweb.net (62.212.65.123). During the move the DNS service will be unavailable from this server. After the move the server will be available on the same ipaddress.

If your system is using nscache3 as a primary server you can use an alternate dns server to prevent any distortion.
